Ensuring that all Alberta students will learn about the history and legacy of residential schools, along with the history of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples of Canada is crucial to meeting the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. St. Joseph High School will continue to ensure that teachers are ready to meet the foundational knowledge standards in the new draft Teaching Quality Standard (TQS).
